Aviat Website Redesign

Aviat Networks reached out to us with the need for a new website. Their current website was made to look nice, but the user experience and backend left a lot to be desired. The website was slow and would often break anytime content was updated.

Challenge

The challenge with this project was to create a visually appealing website with improved UI/UX and to find new solutions to the many integrations Aviat needed in order for the website to meet their business needs.

Solution

We always take a data-first approach when creating a new website, and this project was no different. Through the data, we were able to identify user paths that convert at a high rate. Additionally, on the backend, we were able to identify outdated and unsupported plug-ins that were slowing the website down and increasing the Bounce Rate. New plug-ins were found that not only fit the business needs but also enhance the overall functionality of the website.

UX Research

The site’s original layout made it tough for users to find what they needed without getting lost. Our first step was a UX audit to spot the main issues. We then dove into understanding the target audience—identifying who they are, their goals, and how we could align Aviat’s offerings, from classes to tech software, to their needs. This led us to redesign the site’s structure for better navigation, creating a new sitemap and clearer paths for users.

Our efforts simplified the user experience, making the website not just easier to navigate but also more engaging for visitors, ultimately helping Aviat connect more effectively with its audience.

UI Design approach

The primary goal of the website redesign was to enhance the User Experience and infuse the site with a more modern aesthetic, all while maintaining Aviat’s brand identity. Following the established guidelines, we adopted a minimalist approach for the new layouts, aiming to spotlight Aviat’s products and services effectively.

Designing a User-Centric Visual System for Business Impact

Our design strategy was centered around developing a visual system that aligns with their business objectives and addresses their audience’s needs, ensuring that every element on the site contributes to a coherent and user-friendly experience. This approach not only elevated the website’s look and feel but also ensured that Aviat’s offerings were clearly and attractively presented, facilitating a deeper connection with their target audience.
